Can Corey Davis be an asset to fantasy football owners this year and beyond.

ADP: 7.11 (83 Overall) or WR30

My Ranking: WR25

Corey Davis has the makings of a true X receiver. He has 2018’s target share—25.6 percent—to prove it. For perspective, that’s a higher target rate than Antonio Brown.

Free-agent acquisition Adam Humphries is expected to eat up most of the targets from the slot, and in 2019, Davis should operate primarily on the perimeter where an X belongs.

Let’s not forget that he is money when the stakes are high.

Sleeper

Corey Davis has WR2 upside, and it’s clear as day. He’s a guy I’m willing to live and die by. Yes, I am a homer. I have seen him with my own two eyes at every home game for the last two years and he is a stud.

However, Davis’ draft stock is plummeting because of his per-game inconsistencies. This is opening the door to significant value. Make your opponents pay, and let him slide right to you.

Remember, WRs tend to break out in year 3⁠—just saying.

2019 Projection: 73 REC, 1,003 YDS, 6 TDS, 55 RUSH YDS
