Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper: 3 (53 Total)

Sure things: Ryan Succop, Brett Kern, Beau Brinkley

Numbers favor: None

This was easy, but not necessarily for the reason you think.

Brett Kern is outstanding and has joined a long line of Titans specialist whose achievements will likely go unnoticed but who have made an incalculable impact on games week in and week out.

Same goes for Beau Brinkley who seems to always be downfield quickly on punt coverage and who rarely is off target with his snaps. Maybe low every now and then but generally very good and has a good relationship with the other two which is key.

I am not saying that Ryan Succop is the problem, but he is the one that concerns me the most. After rumors of a leg injury last year cropped up, I am nervous about his health long term. Succop had a bad finish to last season after being so solid as the Titans kicker.

Now, Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson didn’t bring in any competition so it clearly isn’t a concern of his and a good season this year erases any doubts. However, a mediocre or bad season this year could be something to watch and could ultimately end this trio’s run.
