1. Marcus Mariota’s Do-or-Die season

It doesn’t take an expert to look at Marcus Mariota’s tenure with the Tennessee Titans and see that there has been a sense of disappointment.

Mariota has struggled staying healthy during his time in Tennessee, failing to play in all 16 games in each season. His best season so far was in 2016, when he played in 15 games and he was only sacked 23 times that season.

Although he’s had an up and down career, Mariota flourishes in one aspect: he’s resilient. Marcus currently has 9 fourth quarter comebacks in his career as well as 11 game winning drives. When it comes down to making big plays and putting his team in position to win the ballgame, Mariota is one of the best to do it.

With everything stated above, having an improved offensive line, having an offensive coordinator with a scheme Mariota is familiar with, better weapons to throw the ball to, and even gaining 10-15 pounds in the offseason, Mariota is going into the most important season of his young career. If he is able to improve on certain aspects of his game, #8 is going to lead this team to have great success both this upcoming season, and in the years ahead.
