Breaking down Tennessee Titans in SI’s Fantasy Football rankings
By Will Lomas
Taking a deep dive on Tennessee Titans players in SI’s 2019 Fantasy Football rankings.
SI has released the first version of their 2019 Fantasy Football rankings and there are 11 Tennessee Titans on it.
After reading thoroughly I have some thoughts on the rankings, but before we get to that I am going to list where the Titans are ranked:
32. Derrick Henry (RB16)
78. Corey Davis (WR36)
91. Delanie Walker (TE6)
118. Dion Lewis (RB44)
121. A.J. Brown (WR52)
122. Adam Humphries (WR53)
144. Marcus Mariota (QB27)
223. Taywan Taylor (WR84)
232. Tennessee Titans D/ST (DST16)
261. Ryan Succop (K17)
276. Ryan Tannehill (QB36)
There are definitely some hot takes in there, but some of this is the Titans own fault. When you run an offense based around a running game featuring two running backs, you don’t make yourself very fantasy football relevant.
Honestly, a whole article could be written about how the Tennessee Titans lack of exciting offense has led to a lack of fantasy football producers, which has directly led to other markets being favored in media coverage.
CJ2K was one of the more talked about players in the NFL at his peak, but since then the Titans national profile has fallen and it probably isn’t a coincidence.
So, let’t start off on a positive note which Titans player on this list got the most deserved respect.
