WR: A.J. Brown

2018 college stats: 85 receptions, 1,320 yards, six touchdowns

Projected Fantasy Football ADP: 10th round

Best fit: PPR

Brown was an absolute stud for Ole Miss, but that means almost nothing now. The rookie wideout will have to start from scratch as he enters his debut season in the NFL and as we’ve seen with countless rookie receivers in the past, the adjustment might take some time.

Now, that’s not to say Brown couldn’t be a star at some point down the road, or even as soon as this season. I’m just saying don’t depend on that blossoming to happen right away, which is why Brown is best taken as a Dynasty league stash who can be kept for years to come.

Making it even harder for his rookie transition, Brown will have to deal with experienced receivers all around him who will command most of the targets.

So, what’s the upside for 2019? Brown has explosive speed that can take the top off a defense and burn it for big plays. He can also take a short pass and blow past defenders in another scenario in which Brown can take it to the house.

He remains Tennessee’s biggest wild card in the passing game, but his future is as bright as they come.
