WR: Corey Davis

2018 stats: 65 rec (112 targets), 891 yds, 4 TD

Projected Fantasy Football ADP: fifth round

Best fit: Standard and PPR

While 65 catches doesn’t seem like a lot, Corey Davis received a ton of targets in his sophomore season. Clearly Mariota likes throwing to his young receiver and that familiarity from last season should carry over into this one, making Davis the team’s No. 1 receiver from the jump.

Approach with caution, though. Davis will have much more competition for targets, with the signing of Adam Humphries and drafting of A.J. Brown. Not to mention, Delanie Walker will be back in the mix and healthy for 2019, creating even more competition in the red zone as well.

Despite all of that, Davis is worth taking a chance on around the fifth round. He is still this team’s best wideout with big-play ability and should build on his 891 receiving yards from a year ago to surpass the 1,000-yard mark.

Some analysts have considered Davis as a potential fantasy bust, but that’s if you were expecting some kind of superstar breakout in 2019. Don’t expect that, but rather a solid season in which Davis reaches new career-highs in yards and touchdowns, while cementing himself as the true No. 1 in Tennessee.
