Round 2, pick 51: Kelvin Harmon WR, North Carolina State

This isn’t the pick I would make, but it is the pick I think the Tennessee Titans would make.

Jon Robinson loves productive receivers and Kelvin Harmon has that. With two back to back 1,000 yard seasons, he makes sense as the Tennessee Titans WR2 in a lot of senses.

He is a prototypical WR2 who is best suited on the boundary which is the Titans biggest need right now. He plays a very physical style of play that reminds me a little bit of a less explosive Nuk Hopkins.

Honestly, thinking about it right now I think he would play a very similar role to what Rishard Matthews was for the Titans. Harmon is a smooth, but not explosive receiver who wins contested catches and who just seems to do everything well but not great.

While I wish they would get a deep threat, I think it makes sense to think that if you want that element on the field you can put Taywan Taylor out there or just throw it deep to Corey Davis who has shown that he can win deep.

Harmon is a very safe pick that may never hit 1,000 yards in the NFL but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him consistently finish somewhere between 700-900 yards per season.
