2nd round, pick 51: Marquise Brown WR, Oklahoma

I have no idea if this is possible or not. There are big red flags on Brown because of his health and size, so while I tend to fight against the idea that he will be the first receiver taken.

In this mock draft he was the 6th WR taken, so the Titans get incredibly lucky here but they would absolutely make this move (potentially even trading up to do so).

Brown has a lot of concerns at the next level. You are asking a small, speed based WR to matchup with NFL talent for the first time in his career and to do so with a potentially nagging foot injury.

With the obligatory negatives out of the way, let’s talk about the positives. Brown has the best film of any receiver in this draft and aside from Hakeem Butler it really isn’t close. He shows the ability to set up defenders with great routes and a speed game that is very hard to match.

For the Tennessee Titans, he would be their WR2 the counterpunch to Corey Davis. On one side you have a receiver who can do everything and has a 6’3 frame, on the other you have one of the best combinations of speed and quickness to come out in the last few years.

The Tennessee offense would have every tool you could ask for and now they have truly set up Jon Robinson for success and they did it with players that are perfect fits for Jon Robinson.
