4. Golden Tate, WR

Man I want Tate to be with the Titans. The problem is he plays slot receiver and I just don’t think Jon Robinson is going to pay him a huge contract to move out of his traditional position.

However, he has the skill set to make people miss and win on the boundary no matter where he has played in the past and if the Titans could land him I think he would definitely make this passing offense better.

Would he be willing to take a hometown discount understanding that Tennessee’s tax laws would actually let him keep more money on the same contract than (something like) 26 other teams that live in states with larger taxes?

Team other than the Titans I want to see him with: Green Bay Packers

The Packers needed a lot coming into this offseason, but after double dipping at EDGE their first move will probably be on the offensive side of the ball in the draft. Tate would give them an option to replace Randall Cobb as a dynamic playmaker.

This probably wouldn’t pay dividends for the Titans in the first round of the draft, but in the second round when I imagine there will be a run on WRs this could knock them out of that hunt.
