Potential Offensive Tackle help

I focused a lot on interior offensive line during the intro, but the Tennessee Titans will probably look to add another body at offensive tackle this offseason for the right price.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that either Jack Conklin or Dennis Kelly will start at right tackle this year. However, the Titans internal discussions right now have to be figuring out whether or not they can put the loser of the RT battle in at right guard to give themselves and upgrade without having to go into free agency.

If that happens, then there is a chance that another body at offensive tackle could come in handy.

So, the parameters for one of these signings is it will have to be someone in the third wave of free agency (April-May) and probably someone that could potentially play inside in a pinch.

The biggest name that stands out is Ty Nsekhe who you probably haven’t heard of. He is a 33 year old swing player who made it all the way from the Arena Football League to the NFL.

Jon Robinson loves underdogs and guys who have to fight for their spot every day and Nsekhe has done that for his entire career. Not only that, but he has played every offensive line spot except for center. On top of that he has lined up as a tight end in jumbo packages, something that could come back in the Arthur Smith offense.

Jermon Bushrod is a name you may be more familiar with since he was a really good offensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints for a while. But, like most players that leave that system he really struggled elsewhere eventually getting kicked inside.

He may be a more OT/TE oriented player, but he does at least have experience inside and he has good upside as an OT if he has to see the field.
