So what do the Tennessee Titans do at RB?

Unless there is a Derrick Henry trade worked out by a team that loves him and is willing to give up something big on there end, I think there is a 99% chance that the Titans are content with either keeping the RB group the way it is or making a swap of Dion Lewis for one of the running backs on the second or third slide.

Either way, there is no running back who finished the season stronger than Derrick Henry and if Arthur Smith can bottle up just 80% of what Henry was during that last month then he is going to have a running back who not only merits 20+ touches per game, but who is some defenses actively have to take away.

If you get that version of Derrick Henry, a healthy Marcus Mariota, an improved offensive line, and possibly a WR2 or WR3 then this offense could take off. While that sounds like a lot of work, it really isn’t and a smart GM and HC should be able to make those things a priority in the offseason. The big question is, will the Titans have faith that they can get this version of Henry or was this just a flash in the pan?

For right now at least, I am going to side with my optimism and say that there is a chance that next year could be Derrick Henry’s year.
