Tennessee Titans NFL Power Rankings: Week 3
By Will Lomas
"“At 2-1, they’ve won two games with little offense and issues on that side of the ball due to health reasons. They should be happy. “"
Short and sweet, but this is how most people should view this team. With a handicapped offense the Titans have still managed to come out of the other side of a difficult start with a 2-1 record and are undefeated in the AFC South.
This is they type of jump that makes sense. This isn’t necessarily a reflection of the team last week. Instead, it is more of a projection of what this team can be offensively when healthy combined with the NFL’s 4th best scoring defense.
Fans should be happy, and this has them right around where they should be. With one loss to a 3-0 team and with only 3 teams with better records than the Titans right now, it is hard to argue having other teams above them.
The interesting thing is, the Titans are set to face the #3 team on this list in the Eagles on Sunday, which is an underrated matchup of the week.
