Defensive backs: A

Before Adoree Jackson got hit in the head on the punt return, I think that the defensive backs were playing as well as they have all year.

Jackson was putting people in a vice in coverage and was disrupting them in their routes. The other cornerbacks were good and neither gave up anything of relevance all game.

The great news for the Titans is that when LeShaun Sims came in the defense didn’t miss a beat. I don’t mean that he is as effective as Adoree, but it is good that it isn’t like in years past where teams just attack the 3rd or 4th CB with no problem.

Kenny Vaccaro was really good in run support and teams don’t even want the ball near Kevin Byard, which I completely understand.

This is a defensive backfield that I said before the season could be a top-5 unit and they are playing like it. Two great plays (one from Kenny Stills and one from Will Fuller) have made the Titans look like there may be some holes, but when you really watch the game you see that these DBs are absolutely a strength for this team.
