Tennessee Titans positional grades and biggest needs: Week 3

Defensive line: B+

Here is a list of defensive tackles who have more sacks than Jurrell Casey though three games:

That’s right, he is tied at the top with 3 and he leads all DTs with 2 forced fumbles. Casey is on a rampage now and he is off to maybe the best start of his career now that he is back to full-time 3-tech.

Beside him Bennie Logan had a pretty good game and Austin Johnson popped just enough to get them from a “B” to a “B+”.

Going forward, I am still worried about this position group but on Sunday they did a great job. In theory this DL should be great, you have an all-star in Casey, a run stuffer in Bennie Logan, and two guys who should be able to do both at an above average level in Daquan Jones and Austin Johnson.

Can this group grow into something formidable around Jurrell Casey’s dominance?
