Wide Receivers: B-

Another week, another strong performance by Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor. While Davis didn’t have a huge day on paper, he had the nice catch and run where he made two Jaguars run into each other.

That play was on 1st and 20 where he got 22 and put the Titans in scoring position. Something that you won’t see on the box score, but something that not only got the Titans out of a pinch, but helped contribute to the win.

Taylor is becoming what I thought he should be coming into this year. They are feeding him on quick patterns and trying to get him going in one-on-ones after the catch.

13 is dynamic and can take one to the house at any time. While he didn’t do it this week he is getting used more and more and becoming someone teams are going to have to pay attention to.

Tajae Sharpe bumped the Titans from a “C+” to a “B-” for his great run. Even though he had a gut punch drop (as did Rishard Matthews) the 16 yard run was the longest of the day and it was just another wrinkle that the Jaguars had to anticipate.
