Tennessee Titans positional grades and biggest needs: Week 2

Linebackers: C-

I think this will get better in time, but right now the linebackers just aren’t making the plays they need to. Wesley Woodyard looks great in flashes and can still be a great rangy LB who attacks vs the run.

Jayon Brown is alright, but I just thought we would see him pop more. Maybe that is the scheme or maybe that is just him. Either way, he is someone that has to be on the field as a coverage linebacker more.

Will Compton is the guy I think will be replaced by Rashaan Evans sooner rather than later. He needs to get the bulk of the reps with the starters and close in on a job as a run down/pass rush specialist.

Against the Jaguars and that running game the linebackers will get a chance to sink or swim so we should know more after next week.
