EDGE: A

Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan. For so long that is all the Titans had to cling to, and that combo would end up with about 15-20 sacks per year. That is more that respectable, and they have been the teeth of a defense that really had some rough patches.

However, for the first time in a while the Titans have not only one backup that looks good, but two.

Starting with the rookie, Harold Landry looks like he is the best EDGE to come out of this draft so far. Other players may have flashed or gotten lucky, but Landry was dominant in a way that his statline can’t show.

If he wasn’t hitting Watson, then he was a breath away on so many plays Sunday. His bend and ability to plant a foot and drive back to the QB are phenomenal. Everything from his get off to his technique looks great and the Titans may have their next star EDGE.

Opposite him, Kamalei Correa did a great job and he is tied for the Titans lead in sacks so far with 2. He has consistently gotten pressure and he has done it with athleticism and effort.

That tandem is a great backup pairing, and they may end up being the starters in 2019.
