Wide receivers/Tight ends: C+

There weren’t many catches, and there weren’t many plays to be made but when the Titans needed them the receivers answered.

Corey Davis came away with a boring statline filled with game changing plays. While he wasn’t spectacular he did everything he needed to do and kept the chains moving to get the Titans in position to end the game with a win.

Taywan Taylor had the lone offensive touchdown of the game and did it all himself. He was electric with the ball in his hands, and the Titans have to get him on the field more.

Tajae Sharpe also had one of the game’s most important plays with a big catch over the middle. That was another catch that put the Titans in a position to score a crucial field goal.

The reason why they get a C+ is because on a day where the Texans were loading the box, you really want to see someone get away for a long touchdown to force the defense to play them honestly. Taylor did that to an extent, but consistent dominate or a receiver breaking one for a long gain was missing.

The tight ends did fine, nothing spectacular. Luke Stocker did a great job catching a bootleg pass and drawing a penalty on the sideline from Jadeveon Clowney to get another 15 yards.
