ESPN: 22 (Last week 17)

"“Few expected to see Blaine Gabbert take significant snaps for the Titans this season, especially in Week 1, but that was the case after Marcus Mariota left the game with an elbow injury. Gabbert completed just half of his passes and extended his streak to 110 attempts without a touchdown pass, dating to Week 13 of last season. — Koontz“"

I don’t know who Koontz is and I am not really sure how to take this note. I guess the point is that the Titans need Mariota to play of else they are in trouble because of Gabbert.

I’m not really sure that is hard hitting analysis, especially enough to justify dropping the Titans below teams like Dallas and Chicago who had major issues even with their starting QBs, but I guess when you lose to the Dolphins this is what happens to you.

No mention of anything really that happened in the game or the issues going forward, but I guess I can’t really argue with anything they said about the quarterback position.

As of Tuesday afternoon we are all still waiting to hear news about Mariota’s elbow issue and if it doesn’t get any better then this team really does have a lot to worry about.
