Sports Illustrated, Tennessee Titans: T-19

This is maybe the worst way to do a power ranking, by consensus with no explanation of your findings.

The only thing they posted was this:

"Points in Poll: 139 Highest-place vote: 15th (1) Lowest-place vote: 22nd (1) Last season: 9-7, lost in divisional round"

That isn’t super helpful so there is nothing really to judge. Here are the teams they had ranked ahead of the Titans that I don’t understand at all:

-Chicago Bears

-Seattle Seahawks

-New York Giants

The Bears don’t have anything to be excited about on either side of the ball other than Khalil Mack, Leonard Floyd and maybe Allen Robinson.

The Seahawks defense is comprised of the Shaq Griffins, a star safety who hates that team and Bobby Wagner. The offense is Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin with the worst offensive line in the NFL. So, I don’t know how you can be high on that team.

New York has one of the least effective QBs in the NFL and a defense that has quietly gotten worse year after year. Maybe they get to 8-8 but even that would be a stretch right now for a team that picked 2nd in the draft last year.
