With the Tennessee Titans needing to trim the roster down to 53 players this weekend, let’s take a crack at what it could look like.

By late Saturday afternoon, the Tennessee Titans will have had to cut its roster down to 53 players. The cuts have already begun, as on Friday at noon the Titans parted ways with DB Demontre Hurst. While Hurst’s release isn’t all that surprising, he did have a shot at making the team due to his versatility.

Every year during this weekend, the 53-man rosters for teams end up looking just a bit differently than most expect. Some players who are considered locks end up on the outside looking in, and players who were long shots get their big breaks. For the Titans, there could be a little bit of both, as the overall talent level of the team has reached a pinnacle.

Without further ado, let’s try to break down what the 53-man roster and ensuing practice squad could very well look like after Saturday afternoon.
