Cornerback O/U: 5 total interceptions by Malcolm Butler, Logan Ryan and Adoree Jackson

Over

Last year, Dean Pees had his top-three cornerbacks total 9 interceptions. Not only do I think that these defensive backs are more talented than what Baltimore had last year, but I think this defense is better at every level than what the Ravens fielded last year.

Going on career averages, Ryan should end up with 3 interceptions and Butler should end up with 2. All they need is for Adoree Jackson to get his one to hit the over.

While it is true that Jackson has yet to tally an interception, he led the NFL in pass breakups by a rookie and he was tied for 11th in the NFL last year by any player. He was tied with guys like Bradley Roby and Jalen Ramsey, and topped names like Trumaine Johnson and Xavier Rhodes.

I expect him to have a season similar to what Byard had his second year where he goes from being “close” to making a lot of plays.

If there was a weakness in this trio, I would have more hesitation saying that as a group they would hit the over but this is a different Titans unit. There isn’t a Valentino Blake or a Brice McCain that teams will target often when they are looking to funnel the ball to a WR on 3rd down.

With everyone getting their share of opportunity and fear of Kevin Byard over the top, I think this unit will have more turnovers than a lot of people expect.
