Inside linebacker O/U: Jayon Brown, 8 tackles

Over…by a lot

Not only do I think Brown will blow past that number easily, I think he will be a lot closer to 108 than 8.

The reason I think that is because I expect him to play a lot of snaps, at least that is what I would do if I was the DC of the Tennessee Titans.

Rashaan Evans has the potential to be very good, quickly but I don’t think he is the same type of player as Brown. The second year man from UCLA is a fast flow, coverage linebacker that can make plays from the backside and drop into coverage very easily.

Evans on the other hand is someone I want on the strong side of the formation being very physical and aggressive downhill. To me that means that the player he should be splitting snaps is Woodyard, not Brown.

The Titans simply don’t have anyone else like Brown on the roster. While there is a way to get all three of them on the field (Woodyard, Brown and Evans), I don’t think you can really make a good case on why you should take Brown off the field.
