Cleveland Browns: Corey Coleman, WR

Yall remember Coleman? I do. When he was in Baylor I compared him to a faster Steve Smith because he would just expose defensive backs with his speed and ability at the catch point. Then he would stand over them and give them the business before going to the huddle.

….And now we are here.

Why would he be available?

Not only is this not the staff that drafted him with a first round pick, it is a front office that seems to be actively trying to keep him off the field.

The Browns went out and traded for Jarvis Landry and really seem to be doubling down on Josh Gordon (who is awesome when he is allowed to play). Add in guys like Antonio Callaway, Duke Johnson and David Njoku as guys who should cut into his potential targets and it looks bad for Coleman.

That is right, he went from being one of my favorite WRs in a draft to being the odd man out with the Cleveland Browns. Oof.

What would he bring to the Titans?

All that being said, if you squint you can see why he might be intriguing to the Tennessee Titans. He has to be a deep threat, but he has shown some potential to make explosive plays having long catches of 58 and 44 yards.

When he is on, he is on and he is someone that could work in as a rotational player to really add a different note to the competition at WR3 between Tajae Sharpe (solid routes) andTaywan Taylor (short area quickness).
