The Titan Sized Podcast crew recently took to the airwaves to recap and analyze the Tennessee Titans’ 2018 NFL Draft class in-depth.

Following the 2018 NFL Draft, there was a lot to talk about in regards to the Tennessee Titans. GM Jon Robinson pulled off three trades throughout the draft, all of them in efforts to move up several spots and select players he valued highly.

Hist first move was a three-spot jump in the first round to select Alabama LB Rashaan Evans, who will replace Avery Williamson and likely be an upgrade in the middle of the defense. Robinson then made a big splash early in the second round, leaping over several pass-rush needy teams and selecting nosediving Boston College EDGE Harold Landry. We here at Titan Sized loved Landry throughout the draft process and thought the best-case scenario was for him to fall to pick No. 25. Instead, Robinson got him 16 picks later.

The Titans’ third and final trade of the draft came in the fifth round, when Robinson saw a late-round target of his still available late and made sure to secure him. Arizona safety Dane Cruikshank was the player of choice. Cruikshank is an extremely athletic defensive back who has experience at cornerback and safety and picked off several high-profile college quarterbacks in his final season.

To round out the four-player draft class, the Titans’ final selection was Washington State QB Luke Falk, who struggled in his last collegiate season. Despite the poor finish, Falk was one of the most productive passers in college football history at WSU.

With much to discuss, the Titan Sized Podcast team needed to dissect the maneuvers made by Robinson and talk about the players he coveted.
