Round 6, Pick 199: Roc Thomas, RB, Jacksonville State University

With a roster as deep as the Tennessee Titans’, it will be tough for any late sixth round pick to stick with the team, but the Titans choose to take a flyer on a running back who has a lot of potential in a rotational role.

Thomas began his career at Auburn University before transferring to Jacksonville State University when faced with a limited role at Auburn. Thomas made the most of his opportunity at Jacksonville State by using his superior agility and power to trounce lower level competition. However, concerns about his patience and vision make him a day three prospect, albeit an intriguing one. Thomas has a chance to make the Titans roster as a third running back with upside, whose potential can be unlocked with good coaching.
