Round 4, Pick 125: Kameron Kelly, S, San Diego State

The Titans might not have a glaring need at safety, but with the depth behind Johnathan Cyprien and Kevin Byard consisting of Denzel Johnson and Brynden Trawick, the Titans could use another safety for sub-packages and to push Johnson and Trawick for playing time. Kelly has the speed, frame, and length of an NFL safety and is an aggressive, if unrefined, tackler.

However, Kelly’s biggest strength is his ability to flip the field with great coverage ability and ball skills. Outside of Byard, the Titans did not have as many interceptions as they would have liked and a young ballhawk like Kelly who also provides versatility as a cornerback will add a game-changing aspect to this defense.
