Tennessee Titans: Uniform Reveal – Pictures and Reactions
The Tennessee Titans have a fresh look with new, modern uniforms.
For a few years, it’s been known that the Tennessee Titans would be getting new uniforms in the near future. Though the Two-Tone Blue’s uniforms haven’t been terrible, a fresh look was due for a franchise that seemed to be turning the corner.
That time has finally come. With 4.4.18 being hyped up as the date for so long, the desperation among the fan base grew larger as the date neared. Then leaks sprung out of everywhere with supposed pictures of the new threads.
We can finally throw all the theories and expectations out of the window, as the Titans officially unveiled what fans have been clamoring for this evening.
Most notable are the changes to the numbers, which are angled on the edges and look much more sharp (pun intended). The numbers on the shoulder are accentuated by grey underlays, which really do a great job of complementing the other colors while not dominating the blues.
Perhaps the best new addition to the wardrobe is the navy helmet, which looks clean and traditional while still popping. The Titans’ logo melds perfectly with the dark backdrop.
The color rush jersey will supposedly be the all baby blue version, so there will be no changes from previous Thursday Night Football games in terms of jersey color.
Overall, there isn’t much to complain about if you’re a Titans fan. The leaks were a bit nerve-wracking, but the new uniforms look very good when on the players. The helmets, numbers and general modernity of the jerseys are all upgrades over the old ones.
Now it’s time to play some playoff football in them!
