Round 2, Pick 57: Billy Price, OG/C, Ohio State

This one may come as a little surprising with the additions of Kevin Pamphile and Xavier Sua-Filo, but I believe Price’s upside and connection with Vrabel (who recruited him to Ohio State) will make it hard to pass on him. Also, I believe Sua-Filo will probably have a similar fate to what Tim Lelito experienced last year. Lelito was signed in March as competition, but didn’t make it through training camp. I also believe 2018 might be the last year we see Ben Jones starting at the center of the offensive line due to him getting older and his play on a slow but steady decline.

Price is kind of a physical freak, possessing explosive athletic ability complemented with ‘country strength’. The Big Ten is no joke when it comes to defensive linemen, who Price regularly bullied off the line of scrimmage. Coming off a partially torn pec, Price has gone from first round lock to somewhat of an unknown projection. With the Titans already having a center in place, it makes Tennessee the perfect situation for Price to come in and have a ‘redshirt’ year. If in the right situation, Price is somebody who can be a top 10 center in the league for the next decade.
