8. Josh Sweat EDGE, Florida State

Production is historically very important for EDGE rushers. However, there are some rare cases where elite athleticism in spite of major production has led to outliers.

If the Titans take Sweat, it is not because they love what he has done on tape but rather they believe that they are better coaches than the ones he had at FSU.

They have to think that they can get more out of him than anyone in his college career, because he averaged just about 6 sacks per year in the ACC where there aren’t really many good offensive linemen to speak of.

Honestly, I don’t see it with Sweat because he is sort of a linear athlete on tape similar to Sam Hubbard, but with numbers like he put up at the combine I can see where a front office could talk themselves into reaching a little bit for him.
