5. Rashaan Evans LB, Alabama

Jon Robinson was very active at the Alabama Pro Day and the Tennessee Titans need an inside linebacker who can bring the thunder. Enter Rashaan Evans.

The big issue for me here is that Evans just didn’t show off at the combine and there are some questions with me on what he can be.

On tape, he has the aggression, range and coverage ability to be an every down back in the NFL. However, Nick Saban is a defensive mastermind and he always puts his defenders in position to maximize their talents. Is there any room for Evans to grow in the NFL? History says it is doubtful.

Still, if all ends up being is a really good inside linebacker who can play between the tackles and rush some like Dont’a Hightower in New England, the Titans have the perfect compliment to that in Jayon Brown.

At the end of the day I think Evans has a high floor, but a low enough ceiling to keep him out of the top-20.
