Tennessee Titans 10 most likely 1st round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft

10. Lorenzo Carter EDGE, UGA

One more EDGE for the road. Carter is in the same mold as a guy like Josh Sweat except slightly less athletic and productive.

The big difference for Carter is that he had an absolutely dominant game against Notre Dame, which could have made a real argument for the best offensive line in college football last year.

I think Mike McGlinchey has a real chance to be the best offensive tackle in this draft class, and if that is the case then what Carter did to him in their matchup must mean something. After the destruction of that offensive line and some nice testing at the combine, Carter pushed himself into the argument for being a top-5 EDGE in this class.

In the end I think he is more of a trade down target, but if the Titans are dead set on drafting an EDGE rusher and these 6 come off the board:

1. Chubb

2. Davenport

3. Landry

4. Hubbard

5. Mata’afa

6. Sweat

Then they could be concerned about what would be there for them in round 2 and just take the best left which would be Carter in my opinion.
