Tennessee Titans: Affordable Free Agent Options at Positions of Need
By Max Dambach
Middle Linebacker
Top Free Agent: Nigel Bradham, Philadelphia Eagles
Affordable Option: Zach Brown, Washington Redskins
Hopefully, pending free agent Avery Williamson gets re-signed by the team, since he has been a cornerstone of the Titans defense since being drafted. But in the event that he is not re-signed, the Titans could look to a familiar face to fill the void.
After being a second round pick by Tennessee in 2012, Brown ended up in Ken Whisenhunt’s dog house and did not build on his promising first two years with the team. After Brown left Tennessee, he spent a year each with the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins, where he racked up 100+ tackles in the middle of their respective defenses. Despite this, he was not brought back by either team, but in the event that Williamson does not return, Brown can fill much the same role as a thumper and gap filler for Dean Pees.
