Re-signings: Daquan Jones DL, Erik Walden EDGE
-Brought Jones back for $3.5 million per year for 3 years, 60% GTD. This gives the Titans a solid DL rotation that has scheme versatility and some different body types.
-Walden came back for $6 million per year for 2 years, 60% GTD. This is important, but more on this down below.
Signing: DeMarcus Lawrence EDGE, Dallas (5 years, $70 million, $52.5 million GTD)
Getting younger at EDGE is a must this year. The Tennessee Titans absolutely have to make a big move at some point or they will be forced into taking whatever is available after 2018.
Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan are going to be FAs at the end of next year and the re-signing of Walden and this big signing give them a solid 1-2 punch if everything goes haywire in terms of FA and the draft.
It also allows them to go BPA in the first round of the draft, which is huge.
