Fantasy Player of the Year: Delanie Walker

Only a year after DeMarco Murray, Marcus Mariota, and Delanie Walker all proved to be top-tier fantasy options at their positions, Walker was the only player who continued to produce for fantasy owners in 2017. Walker ranked fourth amongst all tight ends with 174.5 fantasy points in 2017. Walker has been the most consistent offensive player on the Titans roster for several seasons, so his consistency in fantasy comes as no surprise to the Tennessee faithful.

In pressure situations, the Titans often turn to Walker to make a clutch catch in the red zone or on third downs. Walker’s blocking ability is also above average for the position, which keeps him on the field in almost every formation, but his ability to split out wide as a “big slot receiver” gives him so much fantasy value, as he can attack the defense at any part of the field. Walker’s fantasy output this season was head and shoulders above the rest of the Titans offensive players, and for that reason, he is the team’s 2017 Fantasy Player of the Year.
