David Shaw – Head Coach – Stanford

The college coach’s name that seems to be associated with every NFL job is David Shaw. Like Harbaugh did before him, Shaw has had success at Stanford University. In fact, he has had so much success there that Stanford fans may have forgotten Harbaugh coached there. Since 2011, Shaw has a coaching record of 73-22. He has also won three Pac-12 championships and four Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards.

Even though Shaw has had success in the college ranks, he has assistant coaching experience in the NFL as well. From 1997-2005, Shaw spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens in various assistant coaching roles. Also, Shaw is widely regarded as a brilliant offensive mind. He would make the Titans offense into something that the fans can be excited about again. In 2017, Stanford averaged 388.4 yards of total offense a game. The Titans would be in good hands if Shaw decides to come out of college football for the NFL.
