After some shocking results in Week 1 that resulted in the Jacksonville Jaguars gaining sole possession of the AFC South lead, the Week 2 results looked much closer to what was anticipated by many heading into the season. The Tennessee Titans rediscovered their ground-and-pound mentality that served them so well in 2016, the Houston Texans pulled out a gritty win with their defense despite their rookie quarterback struggling to score, the Jaguars struggled to put up points until garbage time, and the Indianapolis Colts lost to an Arizona Cardinals team that looked like it was doing its best to lose.

After two weeks, the standings in the AFC South are below.

AFC South Standings

  1. Titans*: 1-1
  2. Jaguars: 1-1
  3. Texans: 1-1
