Checking in on the AFC South after all of the Week 1 games.

Heading into the 2017 regular season, many experts predicted the AFC South to be somewhat of a dogfight with any of the four members of the AFC South having a shot at winning the division. The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans were coming off of 9-7 seasons with the Titans shoring up weaknesses in the secondary and receiving corps, while the Texans drafted their quarterback of the future in Deshaun Watson. Meanwhile, Jacksonville continued to assemble one of the most talented rosters in an effort to carry Blake Bortles to the playoffs, while the Indianapolis Colts hoped to achieve the opposite with Andrew Luck carrying a depleted roster into the playoffs.

Week 1 ended with three teams at 0-1 and one team alone at 1-0.
