Week 1 vs. Oakland Raiders

As sad as I am to say it, the Oakland Raiders have raided Nissan Stadium and stole a beloved opening win from our home team Tennessee Titans. As heartbreaking as it was, lots of analysis and promise have come from this loss. My friends and I watched the game with sweaty hands throughout and we now would like to share our takes of the game and share some of the silver linings we found in the opening loss.

The Raiders are widely considered one of the best teams in the league and they proved it last season. This season, they are hopeful and certainly contenders for the AFC crown. Knowing all of this, the Titans really duked it out with them. The game really had a similar feel to the Floyd Mayweather vs. Connor McGregor fight in that during the beginning, everyone thought the underdog might have something going but as the tough matchup wore on, the expected winner pulled ahead. As a Titans fan, I think McGregor is still one of the best fighters and the Titans are still one of the best NFL teams. Read on to see why.
