8. OT Jack Conklin, 8th Overall in 2016 Draft

Jack Conklin is the most recent addition to this list as last year’s rookie first rounder. After the Titans selected Conklin 8th overall, many fans wondered why the Titans hadn’t selected Laremy Tunsil who was considered a better prospect by many. At that point, there were discussions about moving Lewan to RT, which would make Tunsil the better selection as he is a more natural left tackle prospect. However, Jon Robinson proved many fans wrong by hitting the Conklin pick out of the park. Robinson trusted in Lewan’s ability to play the left side, which allowed Conklin to shine on the right side.

As a rookie, Conklin was rated as the top right tackle by Pro Football Focus after giving up only 2 sacks. He also was named First Team All-Pro, which was a welcome sight for Titans fans who hadn’t had a First Team All Pro for years. Conklin has had one stellar season under his belt, which is why I couldn’t move him much higher on the list. However, based on his current pace, Conklin will continue to move up this ranking each year.
