LANDOVER, MD – OCTOBER 19: Derrick Morgan /

5. OLB Derrick Morgan, 16th Overall in 2010 Draft

From this point forwards, we are moving away from the Titans draft busts, the disappointments, and the promising young players with potential to the multi-year starters who anchored their respective seasons with solid play for multiple seasons. Derrick Morgan epitomizes this type of Titans player. Morgan had never recorded more than 6.5 sacks prior to 2016, when he recorded 9.0, but he has provided a consistent presence off the edge as both a run defender and a pass-rusher.

Still only 28, Morgan has several more years of elite production for the Titans and should be motivated with one more big contract well within the realm of possibility. By the time Morgan becomes a free agent in 2019, regardless of where he ends up, he will have spent almost an entire decade as a defensive stalwart for the Titans, which leads to his place on this list.
