Number 3: Jurrell Casey

DT – #99 – 6’1 305lbs – Exp. 7 – USC – 2011 Draft 3rd Round Pick

If you’ve been a Titans fan for a while, then you know that Jurrell Casey is a top 3 player on this team. Through the thick and the thin, the tatted monster has produced and surpassed expectations. He is well due for credit and so he is the third best player on the Titans roster for me. Let’s all take a second and think back regretfully on the Jake Locker and Shonn Greene/Bishop Sankey era. This team was a disaster. The face of the franchise at the time was a young and talented interior defensive lineman, Jurrell Casey. With no talent around him and little experience, he noticeably shined.

Now experienced and surrounded with talent, Casey is primed to lead this underdog defense and lift it to become a constant tragedy for opposing offenses. His calm, collected and smart play style, matched with his ferocious drive to succeed, serves as a spectacle for the young prospective studs. I remember a time when Casey was the only Titan that was considered a star. Now he is ready to lead a defense capable of getting him a ring.
