Arguably the most notable dates on the schedule are the practices against the Carolina Panthers. We covered it way back when it was announced, but the Panthers and Titans agreed to hold two joint practices in anticipation of the teams’ preseason game in Nashville on Saturday, August 19. That game will be both teams’ second game of the 2017 preseason.
Joint practices have a tendency to be scrappy and more fiery than normal team practices, mostly because opposing players usually don’t like each other, tempers flare and fights ensue. If you can’t make it to a joint practice, I would look into going to a few night practices. You’ll get to avoid the summer heat and enjoy some football under the lights. What could be better?
We are one month away from a real football game.
