Number 11: DaQuan Jones

DE – #90 – 6’4 332lbs – Exp. 4 – PSU – 2014 4th Round Pick

The Titans ranked 2nd against the run last year. This statistic has a lot to do with the bookends on the defensive line. DaQuan Jones has been going under-the-radar in a big way. His play has been very consistent and similar to that of his fellow defensive lineman, Jurrell Casey. Casey is just a better finisher, so he gets Pro Bowl acknowledgment, but Jones is extremely disruptive as well. He is a dominant run stopper, which has been extremely helpful to the Titans. And if they are gong to make a playoff push this season, their run defense needs to keep up with last season’s. I expect the former Nittany Lion to continue his ascension and maybe finally get some recognition this season.

Stat Projection: 39 Tot. Tackles, 4 Sacks, 3 PD, 1 FF
