Power Ranking the Tennessee Titans: Part 3
By Sam Sky
Number 12: Corey Davis
WR – #84 – 6’3 209lbs – Exp. R – WMU – 2017 Draft 1st Round Pick
This kid deserves the #1 spot out of the gate. I love Rishard Matthews, I really believe he is a talented and arguably top option. Davis’ tape and record puts him on a level by himself though. He put up the most receiving yards in college history. Yes, literally. The most career receiving yards in college football history. Having not played a down of professional ball yet, number 12 seems high for CD84.
However, he is a top-tier prospect with every attribute you want in a wide receiver. He gets off the line better than any prospect I’ve watched, has majestic, smooth routes, breakaway speed, spectacular catch ability, run after catch ability; you name it, he excels. Even off the field, he’s all-ball. Corey Davis is going to be a long-time star in the NFL. I have a feeling he will only be on the outside of this top 10 before he plays. Next year, he will make his way into the top 10.
Stat Projection: 88 Rec, 1,112 Yards, 10 TDs
