Power Ranking the Tennessee Titans: Part 2
By Sam Sky
Number 20: Adoree’ Jackson
CB – #25 – 5’11 185lbs – Exp. R – USC – 2017 Draft 1st Round Pick
Boy are we Titans fans going to adore Adoree’. When the Titans selected Jackson with the 18th overall pick in this year’s draft, I was skeptical and so were most of my fellow blue-bleeders. Then, I watched his tape… Sure, he is raw. Sure, he’s gotten beat. However, this kid’s ball-skills and athleticism on the field are unteachable. Adoree’ Jackson is a do-it-all type player and his speed on the field was unmatched throughout college. He was constantly scoring special teams touchdowns while making plays on both offense and defense at USC. Heck, he scored 15 TDs in his college career. Not bad for a cornerback.
On top of all of his stellar physical attributes, he is a team-first, all-ball type player and was a crucial leader for the Trojans’ defense last season. His charisma is hard to overlook. To crack the top 20 players of a team before playing a snap seems rare, but Jackson has earned his spot. I am very excited to watch him bud into a superstar.
Stat Projection: 25 Tot. Tackles, 6 PD, 2 INT, 4 Tot. TDs
