Number 22: Taywan Taylor

WR – #13 – 5’11 203lbs – Exp. R – WKU – 2017 Draft 3rd Round Pick

NFL DBs, watch your ankles; kid’s shifty. Watching Taywan Taylor’s tape from his time with the Hilltoppers in Bowling Green has been very entertaining and exciting. His college film has shown me enough to put Taylor above Tajae Sharpe at WR, and I expect him to start if the Titans open with a three-receiver set. He is an extremely explosive WR with great YAC ability.

Out of the first ten receivers taken in the draft, Taylor has the most yards per route run throughout his last year of college football. And that was with defenses expecting the Toppers to try to get him the ball a lot. There was just simply nothing the defense could do to defend the Tay Train. I expect him to make a decent impact as soon as he touches the field. He should do an excellent job filling Kendall Wright’s shoes and replacing him in the slot receiver role right out of the gate.

Stat Projection: 51 Rec, 609 Yds, 2 TDs
