 Number 24: LeShaun Sims

CB – #36 – 6’0 203lbs – Exp. 2 – Southern Utah – 2016 Draft 5th Round Pick

Revis Island? Old news. Enter Sims City. This is a young corner that has a ton of potential. In fact, during his limited field time in his rookie season, he went off. In a pivotal game for the Titans’ season last year against the Kansas City Chiefs, Sims was on an island guarding Jeremy Maclin for most of the game. He was targeted five times in the game, only allowing a single catch for five yards. He also added an important interception during that game.

If Sims can improve from year one and continue playing like he did against the Chiefs, he could easily be the guy the Titans assign to shadow the #1 receiver. He has good size, speed and athleticism, and he also showed us his ability to excel at the CB position. But I think realistically he is the 3rd best corner on this roster. He has a great chance to find lots of success while gaining experience playing WR3s and WR4s to make the jump to starting CB soon.
