2012

Actual First Round Pick: Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor

Revised First Round Pick: T.Y. Hilton, WR, FIU

It’s funny sometimes how life works, right? You draft a small, speedy receiver with massive potential, and your division rival ends up getting the much better version of the guy you picked. Wright was expected to be a dynamic vertical threat for Jake Locker. He showed flashes of that immense talent during his first two years, but fell off the map over his last three seasons in Tennessee. Injuries were a factor, but he couldn’t put it all together even with Marcus Mariota throwing to him. Hilton, on the other hand, has been a thorn in the Titans’ side for the past five years and has racked up 5861 yards and 30 touchdowns since getting drafted by the Indianpolis Colts in the third round. Wright is no longer with the team.
