Actual First Round Pick: Michael Griffin, S, Texas

Revised First Round Pick: Eric Weddle, S, Utah

The Titans had a massive need at safety going into the 2007 draft, and they got a pretty good one in Griffin. Griffin was an above-average free safety throughout most of his time in Tennessee, but his effectiveness began to fade very quickly as his Titans career winded down. Imagine what the defenses would have (and still would) looked like if Weddle – arguably the best safety in the league over the last five-plus years – had been taken at that spot. Weddle is still playing at an elite level, while Griffin is a free agent after getting trials with two teams last season.
